Hi, I’m Megan
Megan believes in helping each client reach their fullest potential by reinstilling hope and purpose. She has found that the key to many of our insecurities are rooted in our lack of confidence in ourselves and helps clients regain that through affirmation and processing. Megan lives in Hurst with her husband and two children. She enjoys reading, coffee, exercise, and volunteer work at church, her sorority, and pageantry.
My Background
Megan Wells is a Nationally Certified Counselor and a Licensed Professional Counselor who has been working in the mental health field since 2017. Megan graduated from Texas A&M University in 2011 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature. She then went on to obtain a Masters of Education from Sam Houston State University in 2017 in School Counseling. In her career, Megan has worked in high schools and middle schools as a teacher and school counselor, and she has also worked in private practices. Megan specializes in working with eating disorders, self-image related issues, OCD, BPD, anxiety, depression, and other comorbid disorders. She utilizes Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, and some Dialectical Behavior Therapy methods.
