Hi, I’m Rachel

It’s hard to find a therapist you feel safe to be yourself with. I am a trained and experienced therapist passionate about working with all clients who feel stuck, overwhelmed, different, or just need some better help.

I enjoy working with clients who struggle with anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, identity exploration, dissociation, and spiritual abuse. I have experience supporting clients all throughout the lifespan, and am happy to welcome teens, adults, and families of all kinds to our in-person or virtual office. My approach is goal-oriented, trauma-informed, solution-focused, collaborative, and client-centered, and I incorporate CBT, DBT, mindfulness, activities, and art.

My Background

I am a National Certified Counselor (NCC) and Licensed Professional Counselor. I obtained my M.S. in Counseling with a focus in LGBTQIA+ Affirmative Therapy from Southern Methodist University. In addition I provide group therapy to survivors of trauma and those with dissociative identity disorder and borderline personality disorder. In my spare time, I enjoy playing with my cat, writing creatively, and spending time with my family.

I am certified in Trauma Model Therapy, and my trainings include Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Suicide Prevention, and CPR/CPI.
